Due to various circumstances, many children are orphaned throughout India. Girls are the most susceptible to abuse. These abandoned little girls live in the streets, where they become quick and easy targets to corrupt behavior. There are no government programs to help or to protect them.
As orphans who at one time were in a desperate place of need, the children of HOME International are learning to give.
The journey toward being able to give freely is not an easy one for those who have been rejected or abandoned. Emotional hurts are exhibited in a variety of ways - including are feeling of inner rawness and a hurt that doesn't seem to go away.
